Intro to Windsurfing

2-hour windsurfing lesson for complete beginners. Want to learn something completely new? This is the course for you. This 2-hour lesson includes land-based training prior to getting onto the water so you can understand the equipment, the wind and how you are to get on and manoeuvre your windsurfing kit! Then for the majority of the lesson, you will head to the safe, shallow waters of Whitley Lake at Poole Harbour to get to grips moving up and down the water windsurfing! In a 2-hour session we also hope to cover static turns with the sail on a board so you can move up and down the water in different directions along the wind.No previous watersports experience required for this lesson, but if you do have any previous wind sport experience, you will find it easier as you have a base knowledge of the wind and how to steer a sail.Lesson includes: 1x windsurfing kit 1x BA 1x wetsuit (if needed) 1x instructorConditions suitable for this session are light to moderate winds up to 18knots, preferrably an on-shore wind direction. If the session you book is not within these parameters, we will call you to rebook so we can make the most of your time! We are located at the shallow and safe waters of Whitely Lake in Poole Harbour. We can be identified by our van and trailer with our logo and action images of our equipment on the side.
