The Seaside was Rob Machado’s next evolution from his popular Go Fish Model. The Go Fish proved to be fast and felt skatey,but Rob wanted his next board to offer more performance through carves & tighter turns. So the Seaside was all about refinining in less area in the tail, narrowing the tips of the swallow, creating more curve and narrowing the nose. This Seaside design covered all the elements for ripping while staying cruisey and fun.

The Seaside has been designed purely as a Quad fin set up & was designed so that the concaves and bottom contours match the Quad set up perfectly so that it all works together.

The Seaside is best surfed at beach breaks and little point breaks, so it was made it in Firewires Helium tech because its really light, very responsive, really flexy with a softer feel and very durable. Customer feedback confirms this and the Seaside has proven to be one of our most popular options instore particularly for the smaller weaker windswells that Sydney surfers encounter almost daily in the Spring & Summer months.
